Jesus Excludes 3 Players from Al-Nassr's Squad Before Riyadh Match
Saturday 20-09-2025
The Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus made adjustments to Al-Nassr's squad, having decided to exclude three players from the match against Riyadh scheduled for this evening as part of the third round of the Roshan Saudi League.

The newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" confirmed that Jesus excluded Brazilian goalkeeper Bento Matheus due to his desire to rely on only eight foreign players during this match, which prompted him to make the change just hours before the match.

Additionally, Brazilian winger Wesley Gasofa was removed from the team's list, as the coaching staff preferred to give other players in the front line the opportunity to continue Al-Nassr's strong start in the tournament.

Moreover, goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqeedi will miss the match due to his lack of physical readiness after recently suffering a muscle injury, which led the medical staff to recommend against risking his participation.

Jesus summoned only 20 players to face Riyadh, while the global team aims to continue its impressive performances and achieve a third consecutive victory since the beginning of its league journey.

Al-Nassr started its season with a significant victory over Al-Taawoun, winning 5-0, before defeating Al-Khulood 2-0, collecting the full points at the beginning of its journey towards competing for the league title.
