Malcom's Injury Details Confuse Al-Hilal's Plans
Saturday 20-09-2025
Physical therapist Thamer Al-Shahrani revealed that Brazilian player Malcom, a star of Al-Hilal, suffered an ankle sprain outward due to a direct tackle on the leg area during the recent match against Al-Ahli.

Al-Shahrani pointed out that this type of injury varies in severity, as it could be just a minor bruise in the joint, allowing the player to return quickly within less than a week if symptoms do not worsen.

He also explained that the condition could develop into a grade one tear, which requires a treatment period ranging from two to three weeks with gradual rehabilitation programs.

However, if it is a grade two tear, the player may be sidelined for a longer period extending from four to six weeks, which would be a significant blow to Al-Hilal's attacking line.

The technical and administrative staff at Al-Hilal are still waiting for the results of the precise medical examinations that Malcom will undergo in the coming hours to determine the extent of the injury with certainty.

Al-Hilal supporters hope for reassuring results, especially given the team's need for the Brazilian player's efforts in the upcoming matches in the local league and the AFC Champions League.
