The famous media figure Walid Al-Faraj praised the overwhelming victory achieved by Al-Nassr over Istiklol Dushanbe in the AFC Champions League 2.

Al-Nassr won against Istiklol Dushanbe with a large score of (5-0) in the group stage of the tournament.

Al-Faraj stated in television remarks: "Al-Nassr is soaring alone in this tournament, and they performed well while resting some of their stars... Their big victory is not due to the weakness of the opponent, but because the team has outstanding elements."

He added: "This tournament may not add much to Al-Nassr even if they win it, but at least it will not affect their journey in the league, as the team has a good roster that can assist them in both tournaments."

He continued: "In the league, the team is at the top after the first two rounds and is likely to maintain the lead until the third or fourth round as well."

Al-Faraj criticized Al-Nassr's fans, saying: "Even if the AFC Champions League 2 is less competitive than the elite, and even if Ronaldo is absent, there should not be only 6,000 fans present, which is less than a quarter of the stadium's capacity."
