Jorge Jesus: Abdulrahman Ghareeb Has Regained Part of His Form
The Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the head coach of Al-Nassr, clarified the benefits of the match against Tajikistan's Istiklol, which took place on Wednesday evening.
Al-Nassr achieved a 5-0 victory over Istiklol in the match held at Al-Nassr Park in Riyadh, as part of the first round of the AFC Champions League.
Jesus stated in press remarks: "This is an important match, not just for our 5-0 win, but it is valuable for involving more than 6 players this season, and our goal is to find alternative solutions from this tournament."
He continued: "This tournament has given me a clear idea that we have 25 players who can compete, and the reserve players in previous matches who entered the starting lineup have become solutions for the coaching staff throughout the season."
He added: "Abdulrahman Ghareeb has not played for a while; we gave him a chance, and he started the match as a starter, regaining part of his form, and he will be a strong asset for the team, along with Wesley and other players."
He continued: "Our problem is that sometimes the Saudi player cannot maintain the same pace and collapses at certain moments, so we will work on developing them and preparing them better."
He concluded: "As for Saad Al-Nasser, we do not know about his injury and its severity, but he will undergo a medical examination for us to confirm that, and we hope his injury is minor."
