The first goal for the London team came in the 72nd minute, following a remarkable run from Gabriel Martinelli from the midfield, which he finished with a powerful shot into Bilbao's net.

In the 87th minute, Martinelli shone again, after providing a decisive pass to his teammate Leandro Trossard, who did not hesitate to score the second goal and secure the victory for the Gunners.

The players of Athletic Bilbao were unable to penetrate Arsenal's defense or shake the net throughout the match, despite their repeated attempts.
