Muscle Tear Keeps Saeed Al-Rubaie Away from Al-Akhidood for Three Weeks
Tuesday 16-09-2025
The medical staff of Al-Akhidood Club revealed that defender Saeed Al-Rubaie needs a rest period of up to 20 days following the injury he sustained in the match against Al-Taawoun during the second round of the Roshan Saudi League.

Medical examinations confirmed that the 31-year-old player is suffering from a minor muscle tear, necessitating a treatment and rehabilitation program before he returns to participate in collective training.

Portuguese coach Paulo Sergio was forced to substitute Al-Rubaie in the 41st minute of the match against Al-Taawoun after he felt sudden muscle discomfort that prevented him from completing the game.

According to the 'Sofa Score' website, the defender received a rating of 6.3 during the minutes he played before his exit, which reflects the impact of his injury on his performance.

It is noteworthy that Al-Rubaie joined Al-Akhidood in the summer of 2024, coming from Al-Shabab Club after a short stint with them, returning to the team where he developed in its youth categories.

Throughout his professional career, Al-Rubaie has represented several prominent clubs, including Al-Ahli, Al-Ettifaq, Al-Faisaly, and Al-Shabab, while he played 55 matches with Al-Akhidood, scoring three goals without any assists.
