Al-Mina'a Club achieved an exciting victory over its host Naft Maysan with a score of 3-1, during the match held at Maysan Olympic Stadium, as part of the first round of the Iraqi Stars League for the 2025-2026 season.

Al-Mina'a opened the scoring through Ayayi Atimon in the 7th minute, before adding the second goal by Reda Magi in the 61st minute, then Atimon returned to score the third goal for his team in the 65th minute.

Naft Maysan scored its only goal via a penalty executed by Dimi Dawood in the 85th minute, which was an attempt by his team to return to the match, but it did not change the course of the game.

The match also saw another goal for Al-Mina'a canceled again by Ayayi Atimon in the 76th minute for offside, leaving the score at three for Al-Mina'a against one for Naft Maysan.

With this victory, Al-Mina'a strengthens its position in the standings, confirming its readiness for the new season and continuing to deliver strong performances after bolstering its squad with many distinguished players.
