Conditions of Abdul Fattah Adam Foil His Transfer to Neom Before the Deadline
Negotiations for the transfer of striker Abdul Fattah Adam, a player for Al-Taawoun, to Neom FC halted at the last moments of the summer transfer market, after the northern club's management rejected some personal demands from the player.
The deal included the transfer of Ahmed Abdo, a Neom player, to Al-Taawoun as part of the agreement, with both parties reaching an understanding to purchase the contract of the "Al-Qassim Sugar" striker last Tuesday, before the deal fell through on Wednesday night.
Adam, who is 30 years old, began his football career with Al-Jail Club in 2014, then wore the shirts of Al-Hazm, Al-Taawoun, Al-Nassr, Al-Raed, and Abha, before returning to Al-Taawoun in 2023.
During his career on the field, the Saudi striker participated in 155 matches across various competitions, scoring 41 goals and providing 13 assists, in addition to representing the national team in four international matches, where he scored two goals.
This comes at a time when Neom FC continues to strengthen its squad with strong signings, including the acquisition of French player Amadou Kone from Reims, Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, Faris Abdi from Al-Fayha, and goalkeeper Marcin Bulka from Nice.
The list of signings also includes other names such as Alaa Haji and Abdulaziz Nour from Al-Wahda, Thamer Al-Khaibari from Al-Ettifaq, Nathan Zizi from Nantes, Simon Bouabri from Monaco U21, and Abdallah Doucoure from Everton, in addition to Khalifa Al-Dosari from Al-Hilal, Aoun Al-Sulouli on loan from Al-Taawoun, and Luciano Rodriguez.
