Grealish Wins Player of the Month Award in the Premier League
Friday 12-09-2025
The official website of the Premier League announced the victory of English star Jack Grealish for the Player of the Month award for August 2025, marking his first win of this award throughout his career.

Grealish has delivered an outstanding performance since joining Everton on loan from Manchester City during the summer transfer window, celebrating his thirtieth birthday in the best possible way by topping the assist chart in the Premier League during August, with 4 assists, which is double that of any other player in the competition during the same period.

Grealish achieved his four assists in just the first two matches:

He assisted both goals in Everton's 2-0 victory over Brighton in the first match at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

He then provided two additional assists in the 3-2 win against Wolverhampton, helping the team reach fifth place in the standings.

Grealish became the first player in Everton's history to assist more than one goal in two consecutive Premier League matches, and he has a chance to make history again, as he would be the first player in Premier League history to assist two or more goals in three consecutive matches if he succeeds in doing so during the fourth week match against his former team Aston Villa.

With this award, Jack Grealish becomes the first Everton player to win the Player of the Month award since Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who received it in September 2020.
