According to reports, Liverpool reached a preliminary agreement on personal terms with Guehi during the summer, despite interest from major clubs like Real Madrid; however, the Reds' management considers this news mere media noise that does not affect their confidence in completing the deal.

At the same time, Liverpool is monitoring the situation of Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise in preparation for signing him as a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, especially with ongoing discussions about the potential end of the Egyptian star's career with the team.

Estimates suggest that the deal could be worth up to £87 million, with the possibility of negotiating a lower amount with English clubs thanks to a clause or verbal agreement.
