Lewandowski Approaches His 150th Match with Barcelona
Thursday 11-09-2025
Polish star Robert Lewandowski is preparing to play his 150th match with FC Barcelona when he faces Valencia this Sunday in the Spanish league.

Valencia is one of the teams against which the Polish killer shines, as he has scored seven goals in five encounters, making it one of the teams he competes with in terms of scoring alongside Alaves.

Lewandowski has not started any matches as a starter this season due to a muscle injury and strong competition with his teammate Ferran Torres, but he has participated for short periods against Levante and Rayo Vallecano. It seems that the player’s advancing age (37 years) is leading him to accept a more selective role in the lineup while maintaining his strong scoring instinct.

Lewandowski's last goal with Barcelona was in May 2025 against Athletic Bilbao, where he finished the season with 42 goals in 52 matches with the team. The Polish striker aims to celebrate his 150th match by scoring goals again and achieving a strong start this season.
