Saudi club Al-Najma announced the completion of the deal to sign Brazilian goalkeeper Victor Braga, with a contract extending for one season, to strengthen the goalkeeping line in the first football team in preparation for the Roshan Saudi League competitions.

Braga, coming from Cypriot club Limassol, will arrive at the club's headquarters next Saturday to join the team's training and participate with his new teammates after completing all the official procedures for the deal.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has extensive experience in the Saudi league, having represented Al-Taee between 2022 and 2024, participating in 50 matches in the competition, maintaining a distinguished level during that period.

Braga is 32 years old and is expected to be ready to play his first match with Al-Najma against Riyadh, scheduled for the second round of the Saudi league, to enhance the team's defensive options.

The signing of Braga is part of Al-Najma's strategy to bolster its squad with players who have local and international experience, aiming to compete more strongly in the current season across all local tournaments.

The team's technical and administrative staff are keen to prepare the new goalkeeper quickly to ensure his technical and physical readiness before the official matches, gradually integrating him into the team's playing style.
