Gouiri Rejects Bayern Munich Offer and Continues with Marseille
Wednesday 10-09-2025
French media reports have revealed that Algerian international Amine Gouiri rejected an official offer from German club Bayern Munich during the final days of the summer transfer window in 2025.

According to the Foot Mercato website, the Bavarian club's management approached their counterparts at Olympique Marseille to sign the Algerian striker, but the player expressed his commitment to continue his journey with the French team, which he joined last January on a contract that runs until the summer of 2029.

Following this, Bayern Munich's management turned to the English league and reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson on loan for one season, with an option to buy the contract in the summer of 2026.

Gouiri's decision to stay with Marseille sends a clear message about his desire for stability and to establish himself in the French league, despite the temptations of moving to one of the biggest European clubs.
