La Liga officially approved the holding of the match between Barcelona and Valencia at Johan Cruyff Stadium, scheduled for next Sunday, as part of the fourth round of the Spanish league, with an audience of 6,000 fans.

The approval came after a field visit by La Liga representatives to Johan Cruyff Stadium to ensure that all required technical modifications, which were imposed last week, had been implemented. This includes the installation of 24 cameras for the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system and ensuring a fiber-optic internet connection to avoid any technical issues, in addition to addressing some aspects related to the irrigation system.

Barcelona had previously confirmed that the match would take place in Sant Joan Despí, but the inspection visit today showed that all requirements were met, including the installation of a new internet line.

Thus, the holding of the match at Johan Cruyff Stadium is final and official, with no possibility for other clubs to contest it or any risk of cancellation.
