Possible Return Date for Marc Bernal Against Valencia

Young Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal, who is 18 years old, is very close to returning to the pitch after a full year since his serious knee injury.

Bernal suffered a torn ACL and meniscus during a match against Rayo Vallecano on August 27, 2024, and underwent surgery on September 9 under the supervision of Dr. Juan Carlos Munyo.

Since then, the player has undergone a long recovery period, returned to team training since the beginning of preparations, and participated in the team's Asian tour.

Coach Hans Flick confirmed that there is no rush for his return, but the match between Barcelona and Valencia next Sunday could be the awaited date, especially with De Jong and Gavi continuing to be absent.
