The Tunisian national team achieved a valuable victory against Equatorial Guinea with a score of one goal to none, in the match held at the new Malabo Stadium, as part of the eighth round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The only goal of the match came in the 90 + 4 minute through Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan, who managed to snatch the victory for the Eagles of Carthage after a match that witnessed great competitiveness between both sides, amidst a charged atmosphere from the fans and organized defense from the hosts.

With this victory, the Tunisian team raised its tally to 22 points at the top of the group standings, securing qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

As for the Equatorial Guinea team, their tally remained at 10 points in fourth place in the group standings, making their task of competing for a qualification spot more difficult.
