
Al-Gharaf Announces Readiness to Participate in the Iraqi Stars League
Al-Gharaf Club continues its intensive preparations for the Iraqi Stars League in football, as the team aims to enter the new season with the highest levels of physical and technical readiness, under the leadership of coach Haider Obeid and the assistant staff who have set a comprehensive training program to prepare the players.
Member of the club's administrative board, Ali Rahim, stated in a press release that the management of Al-Gharaf has been working for some time to create the ideal atmosphere for the coaching staff and players, by organizing two training camps, the first being internal in the capital Baghdad and the second external in the Arab Republic of Egypt. He emphasized that these preparations aim to enhance physical fitness and increase harmony among the team members, especially after signing several professional players who constitute a strong addition to the group.
Rahim pointed out that Al-Nasiriya International Stadium is now 100% ready to be the official stadium for the club in the upcoming season, explaining that the team's return to the spotlight league after a long absence represents a historic event for the fans of Dhi Qar Governorate, who have long awaited to see a representative for them in the major league after a hiatus of over 13 years.
He added that Al-Gharaf's ambitions are not limited to mere participation, but the team seeks to be a formidable force and a real competitor on the local scene, stressing that both the management and the fans have great confidence in the technical staff and players to deliver a level that befits the name of the club and the governorate.
