Al-Ahli Withdraws from Contracting with Walid Al-Ahmad Due to Financial Demands from Al-Taawun
Monday 08-09-2025
Negotiations between Al-Ahli club and Walid Al-Ahmad, the defender of Al-Taawun, have halted after facing high financial conditions from the management of the Qassim club, which led the western club to disregard the current summer deal.

Al-Ahli had begun informal talks with Al-Taawun to explore the possibility of acquiring Al-Ahmad, but the amounts required to finalize the deal were very high for the club's plan.

Informed sources confirmed that Al-Ahmad will continue to represent Al-Taawun during the current season and will not leave the team during the current summer transfer market.

Reports indicate that Al-Ahli is always looking to strengthen its defense line, but the financial conditions set by Al-Taawun prevented the completion of the deal at this time.

On another note, the management of Al-Taawun expressed interest in borrowing Bassam Al-Huraiji, a player from Al-Ahli, for the next season, but negotiations have not yet reached a final resolution.

It seems that Al-Taawun is keen on its key players and sets strict conditions for any potential transfers, while Al-Ahli continues to explore other options to strengthen its defensive lineup before the start of the new season.
