The Roshan Saudi League has achieved a new leap in the transfer market during the summer of 2025, as clubs intensified their spending to strengthen their squads with global stars, in a move that confirms the league's continued ability to attract attention at both local and international levels.
Statistics revealed that the total spending of Saudi clubs reached approximately €473.53 million, a figure that reflects the economic and technical boom the league is experiencing in a short period, compared to what it was a few years ago.
In contrast, clubs succeeded in generating significant revenues from player sales, with revenues nearing €131.63 million, highlighting the relative balance between the level of spending and the income generated from transfer activities.
The Saudi league ranked sixth globally in the list of the highest spending leagues during the summer transfer window, coming directly behind the top five leagues: English, Italian, Spanish, French, and German.
At the club level, Al-Qadisiyah led the spending scene after injecting €124.06 million into the transfer market, ahead of Al-Hilal, which ranked second locally with a spending of €100.94 million.
Al-Nassr came in third among Saudi clubs with a total expenditure of €66.57 million, indicating the fierce competition among clubs to strengthen their squads with players capable of elevating the league's level unprecedentedly.
