Kalidou Koulibaly opened the scoring for Senegal in the 13th minute with a brilliant header following a superb pass from Krépin Diatta, and in the 41st minute, Pape Sarr added the second goal after a fine assist from Koulibaly.
With this victory, Senegal raised its points to 15, securing second place in the group standings, while Sudan is in third place with 12 points.
