Press sources confirmed that the management of Al-Ahli Jeddah requested from their counterparts at Cooperation to sign Walid Al-Ahmad, the team's defender, before the end of the current summer transfer market.

For their part, the officials at Cooperation rejected Al-Ahli's request regarding the purchase of Walid Al-Ahmad's contract, insisting on keeping the player within their ranks during the current sports season.

The sources indicated that Cooperation still rejects the idea of the defender leaving the team, and negotiations are ongoing between the two parties to officially finalize the deal.

Additionally, the officials at Al-Ahli included the duo Abdullah Al-Amar and Saad Belabid in the deal, along with Bassam Al-Hariji, given their exclusion from the plans of German coach Matthias Jaissle.

The sources confirmed that negotiations are still ongoing among all parties at this time to finalize the deal before the end of the transfer window next Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
