Cooperation Seeks to Get Rid of Flavio
Tuesday 02-09-2025
The management of Al-Tae'oon Club attempted to find an offer for the departure of the Brazilian midfielder Flavio Medeiros during the summer transfer window, but its efforts failed after clubs in the Roshan Saudi League refused to enter negotiations to purchase his contract.

According to private sources, the Qassim club offered the player to several teams within the league, but did not receive any response, despite having only one year left on his contract that has been in effect since he joined in 2022.

The management of Al-Tae'oon is seeking to part ways with Flavio to open a slot for a new foreign player before the current summer transfer window closes, given the team's need to add an influential element in the midfield.

So far, Al-Tae'oon has completed one foreign deal in the current market, signing French player Angelo Folgini on loan, in addition to activating the purchase clause for Venezuelan left-back Rene Rivas.

The current foreign player list for the team includes: Brazilian goalkeeper Mailson dos Santos, his compatriots Flavio and Andre Gerotto, Venezuelan Rivas, French Folgini, Moroccan Achraf Mahdioui, Gambian Musa Barrow, and Colombian Roger Martinez.

According to the regulations of the Roshan Saudi League, each club is allowed to register eight foreign professionals, in addition to two players born in 2004 and later, which forces Al-Tae'oon to part with one of its foreigners before any new contract.
