Mystery Surrounds Al-Nassr's Summer Plans
Speculations continue regarding the future of Brazilian Pinto, the goalkeeper for Al-Nassr, and the possibility of replacing him with a foreign midfielder before the end of the summer transfer window, according to Saudi media sources.
Reports indicate that Al-Nassr's management is looking to sell Pinto's contract to another club while registering a foreign midfielder in his place, in an attempt to strengthen the team's midfield ahead of the new season in the Saudi Roshan League.
The program "Dourina Ghair" clarified that Al-Nassr's potential options are limited to a foreign player from the English league or one of the local players within the Saudi Roshan League, to compensate for Pinto's absence from the current roster.
On the other hand, the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that Al-Nassr's management leans towards postponing the idea of signing a foreign midfielder until the winter transfer window in January, which means Pinto will remain among the foreign players this summer.
Sources added that Al-Nassr may move in the future to add a new name if a midfielder with high technical specifications and appropriate financial value emerges, to enhance the team's squad in a calculated manner.
On another note, Al-Nassr recently completed the signing of left-back Saad Al-Nasser, coming from Al-Taawoun, in a step to strengthen the team's defense as part of preparations for the summer transfer market.
