Milan Closes the Door on Saudi Offer for Goalkeeper Toriani
Monday 01-09-2025
Eli Tari, the sporting director of AC Milan, confirmed that the club's management rejected a Saudi offer to sign young goalkeeper Lorenzo Toriani during the ongoing summer transfer window, as he stated to 'Al-Riyadhia'.

Reports circulated that Al-Hilal was the party that made the offer, seeking to strengthen its roster with players born in 2004 and later, especially with the possibility of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou's absence in December and January due to his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Tari clarified that the offer was categorically rejected, indicating that he would not reveal the identity of the club that requested to sign the Italian goalkeeper, while also confirming that Milan's management sees a promising future for the player with the team.

It is worth mentioning that Toriani sustained a finger injury in mid-August, which has kept him out of matches recently, despite currently holding the position of the third goalkeeper in Milan's first team.

The young Italian goalkeeper is 20 years old, and his market value is estimated at half a million euros according to 'Transfermarkt', making him one of the promising names in Italian football.

Toriani has also participated in four matches with the Italy U20 national team, which enhances his chances of gaining the trust of Milan's coaching staff in the future, despite the recent external offers he has received.
