Al-Zawraa Club has renewed the contract of its distinguished player Karrar Nabil to remain with the team until the end of the 2026-2027 season, in a move that confirms the club's keenness to maintain its technical pillars in preparation for the upcoming season.

Karrar Nabil has represented several Iraqi clubs, most notably Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and Al-Talaba, before returning to Al-Zawraa in the last season, where he stood out significantly in the playmaker position, contributing to delivering remarkable performances during league matches and other team games.

The club's media office clarified that the signing of the new contract took place in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in the presence of the president of Al-Zawraa's administrative board, Haidar Shanshul, after the board members agreed with the player to extend the contract, due to his high technical value and significant addition to the first football team.

This step comes within the policy of Al-Zawraa's management to maintain the core elements of the team, to ensure continued technical harmony among the players and to achieve the best results in the new season of the Iraqi Premier League, in addition to potential local and continental competitions.
