Al-Shabab Club announced on Tuesday that the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has lifted the previously imposed ban on the club, which prevented the registration of new players, after closing the case that caused the decision.

The official spokesperson Turki Al-Ghamdi clarified that the administration is working to protect the club's rights and fulfill its obligations, providing all means to enhance the team's stability and strengthen its ranks in a manner that satisfies its fans.

Al-Ghamdi indicated that the registration ban was related to a solidarity contribution concerning player Aaron Salem, and the amount was transferred about two months ago, but some banking procedures and the timing of the due date prevented it from being approved on time.

The administration emphasized that lifting the ban has become a matter of a short time, reassuring the club's fans that there are no obstacles to registering players during the current summer transfer window, expressing its gratitude for the support and trust of the team's supporters.

In a related context, the Al-Shabab administration denied rumors about the possibility of selling the contract of Belgian player Yannick Carrasco to Atlético Madrid, confirming that the player is one of the key pillars of the team and that they are keen on his continued presence within the team.
