Nottingham Forest is seeking to strengthen its defensive lineup before the summer transfer window closes, having made an official offer to sign young Italian full-back Nicolo Savona, a player from Juventus.

According to the website "Football Italia," Nottingham Forest's offer amounts to 12 million euros for the 22-year-old player, who shone in his first full season with Juventus's first team in Serie A last season.

Savona, who grew up in Juventus's academy and progressed through its ranks, played in 28 matches last season, and despite his impressive performance, he was not included in the squad list for the team's opening match of the new season, which ended with Juventus winning 2-0 against Parma on Sunday.

Reports indicate that negotiations between the two clubs are still ongoing, with a possibility of reaching a final agreement in the coming days.
