FIFA Suspends Registration of One Team in Roshen League
Tuesday 26-08-2025
The International Football Federation (FIFA) has suspended Al-Shabab club from registration, making it the only club in the Roshen League currently prohibited from registering players due to a single financial case.

In the Yelo League, the total number of registered cases has reached seven, with both Al-Orobah and Al-Raed facing two cases each, while Al-Wahda, Al-Batin, and Al-Tai each recorded one case, according to official data.

At all levels of the Saudi league, Al-Ahd club tops the list of clubs most affected by cases, having recorded ten cases against it, reflecting the financial and administrative challenges it faces.

These measures are part of FIFA's monitoring of clubs' financial obligations and its commitment to adhering to the established laws and regulations to ensure the integrity of competitions and protect players and stakeholders.

The situation continues to impose restrictions on several clubs, putting them in a challenging position regarding the registration of new players, and increasing pressure on club managements to rectify their financial situations before the end of the summer transfer window.
