Al-Akhdood Strengthens Defense with Abu Abd and Salem

Al-Akhdood Club announced the completion of its contract with defender Muhammad Abu Abd, who is coming from Al-Adalah Club on a contract that extends for three seasons, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen its backline in preparation for the new sports season.

Abu Abd began his football career with Al-Adalah, where he was promoted to the first team in 2019 in the Professional League, and he succeeded in delivering impressive performances that made him one of the promising names. He also contributed last season with 29 successful ball recoveries across all competitions.

Al-Akhdood also announced the signing of defender Ali Salem on loan from Al-Wahda Club until the end of the 2026 season, to enhance the team's defensive options and increase depth in the back positions.

Salem, 27 years old, excels in playing as a center-back and left-back, and is distinguished by his ability to win aerial duels and individual marking. He participated last season with Al-Wahda in 19 official matches, during which he scored one goal and provided an assist.

Both players expressed their happiness about moving to Al-Akhdood, confirming their determination to give their utmost to help the team achieve positive results and deliver a strong season that befits the trust of the management and coaching staff.
