The Reality of Alisson's Departure from Liverpool After Al-Nassr's Interest
Sunday 24-08-2025
Rumors have emerged during the current summer transfer window regarding the possibility of Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker transferring from English club Liverpool to Saudi club Al-Nassr, amid the latter's desire to strengthen the goalkeeper position at the request of coach Jorge Jesus.

Journalist Sam Cohen confirmed via 'givemesport' that Alisson's connection to Al-Nassr does exist; however, current indicators suggest he is likely to stay with Liverpool this summer, describing the idea of his departure as a major surprise or even 'almost impossible.'

Al-Nassr's move comes after the management decided to look for a replacement for Brazilian goalkeeper Bento, while the coaching staff believes that signing a global name like Alisson would enhance the team's strength ahead of the new season.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper's contract with Liverpool extends until June 2027, where he plays regularly under Dutch coach Arne Slot, which increases the difficulty of the English club agreeing to his departure.

It is worth noting that Alisson joined Liverpool in the summer of 2018 from Italian club Roma for 62.5 million euros, and since then he has established himself as one of the top goalkeepers in the world.
