The Algerian international Islam Slemani has made his final decision regarding his future with Chabab Belouizdad, following a period of controversy and speculation surrounding his absence from training and summer preparations.

Reports have revealed that the all-time top scorer for the national team has officially decided to leave the team, after recently returning to training to avoid having his contract unilaterally terminated, as the management utilized a legal official to document his unjustified absence from the training camp in Tunisia.

These sources confirmed that both parties reached an agreement to mutually terminate the contract, however, Slemani conditioned the receipt of the remaining portion of his signing bonus, part of which he had received in the summer of 2024.

Thus, the curtain falls on the short experience of the “Greens” striker with Chabab Belouizdad, while awaiting to determine his next destination, amidst discussions about the possibility of returning to a new professional experience outside Algeria.
