Al-Hilal Intensifies Efforts to Sign Ausilio, Inter Milan's Director, to Support Its Project with Inzaghi

Italian reports revealed that Al-Hilal has renewed its strong efforts to sign Piero Ausilio, the sporting director of Inter Milan, but he has not yet decided on his future, preferring to wait until the end of the current summer transfer window.

Ausilio is one of the most prominent names in Italian football, having been associated with Inter Milan for over 20 years, and he has held the position of sporting director since April 2014, successfully completing notable deals that contributed to building a competitive team.

The Al-Hilal management sees Ausilio as the ideal choice to work alongside the new coach, Simone Inzaghi, who took over the team in June after leaving Inter following their loss in the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Al-Hilal project aims to reunite the duo Inzaghi and Ausilio, benefiting from the successful experience that led Inter to achieve administrative and technical stability over recent years.

According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Ausilio has not closed the door on Al-Hilal's offer, but he prefers to finalize his future after the transfer window closes in September. Meanwhile, Al-Hilal's management remains committed to bringing in significant European expertise into its administrative structure.

The Saudi club's management aims to benefit from Ausilio's successes in major signings, such as those of Lautaro Martinez, Nicolo Barella, and Romelu Lukaku, in a step aimed at building a team capable of competing both locally and continentally.
