According to a source cited by the newspaper "Al-Masry Al-Youm", the management of Pyramids Club wishes to renew the contract of the team's defender Osama Galal during the current period.

The player's contract with Pyramids ends at the end of the current season.

Both Al-Ahly and Zamalek clubs are seeking to acquire the player, so Pyramids wants to secure their player.

The source added: "The team's management will hold a meeting with the player in the coming days to agree on all the details for signing."

He continued: "Pyramids officials want to benefit from selling the player in the future, due to his limited participation because of injuries in the past seasons, so they are working to renew his contract, in anticipation of him leaving for one of the two major clubs for free."
