Media reports have revealed the failure of Egyptian club Zamalek's efforts to contract with Algerian international star Adam Ounas during the ongoing summer transfer window, after the player rejected the idea of moving to the White Castle.

According to the same sources, negotiations began in recent days through Ounas's agents, but recent developments took a negative turn that ended the possibility of signing him, officially removing him from the Egyptian team's technical considerations.

The report added that Zamalek's management showed serious interest in the player's services, only to be surprised by the involvement of external parties in the deal, which contributed to complicating the negotiations and distancing the player from the circle of interest.

It is worth noting that Ounas, who is 27 years old, is currently without a club after his stint with Qatari club Al Sadd ended, making him one of the prominent names available in the transfer market.
