
Saudi League Association Sets Date for Best Awards Delivery for the 2024-2025 Season
The Saudi Professional League Association announced the date for the delivery of the sports season awards for 2024–2025, following the announcement of the winners in various categories through a vote that included coaches, team captains, media representatives, and fans.
The results are calculated according to pre-defined percentages: 40% for club coaches, 40% for team captains, 15% for media representatives, and 5% for fans, to ensure transparency in selecting the best in each category.
The awards ceremony will be held before the kickoff of the first match on the home ground of the winning player in the 2025–2026 season, with public attendance to allow players to celebrate their achievements with their fans, in coordination with the clubs of the winners.
The list of award winners is as follows: Best Player: Karim Benzema (Al-Ittihad), Best Coach: Laurent Blanc (Al-Ittihad), Best Saudi Player: Salem Al-Dawsari (Al-Hilal), Golden Boot: Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nassr) with 25 goals.
Additionally, Koen Casteels (Al-Qadisiyah) won the Golden Glove title after topping the clean sheets list, while Musab Al-Juwair (Al-Qadisiyah) received the Best Young Player award for his impressive performance and outstanding statistics as a young player.
