Officially.. Erbil Club Signs Jamaican Damion Lowe

Erbil Club announced its official contract with the Jamaican international center-back Damion Lowe, coming from the Saudi club Al-Akhidood, in a move that reflects the ambitions of the people of Erbil to strengthen their squad with significant experience in preparation for the new season.

Lowe, who is 32 years old, has a rich football career, having previously represented several prominent clubs around the world, including Inter Miami, Philadelphia, and Seattle Sounders in the USA, as well as Al-Ittihad in Egypt, before embarking on an experience in the Saudi league with Al-Akhidood.

The Erbil management is counting heavily on the player's international experience, as he is one of the names that represented the Jamaican national team in continental and international tournaments, which gives him a special status among the foreign professionals coming to the Iraqi league.

This deal is considered significant given the player's technical and physical value, as he is expected to be a major addition to Erbil's defense, especially since the team aims to present an outstanding season and compete for top positions in the Iraqi Premier League.

The club's management confirmed that the contract with Lowe came after a thorough study of the needs of coach Bassim Qasim, who emphasized the necessity of strengthening the backline with a player who possesses extensive experience and knowledge to secure defensive balance and provide the team with greater solidity in local and continental matches.
