Police Announce Absence of Its Stars from Egypt Camp
The police club continues its preparations for the new season through its external camp held in Egypt, which witnesses the absence of two of the team's most prominent professionals, Nigerian Abdou Majid Abubakar and Syrian Mahmoud Al-Mawas.
The club's management clarified that the absence of midfielder Abdou Majid Abubakar is due to his health issues that kept him from joining the camp since its beginning, confirming that the medical staff is closely monitoring his condition to ensure his recovery and return to group training as soon as possible, especially since the player is one of the key elements relied upon by coach Moamen Soliman in the front line.
As for Syrian Mahmoud Al-Mawas, he was unable to accompany the delegation to Cairo due to delays in obtaining his entry visa, which prevented him from joining the training sessions, but he will continue his preparations individually until the official procedures are completed and he joins the team.
The camp, which lasts for ten days, includes intensive physical and technical training, in addition to trial matches aimed at increasing the harmony among the players and preparing the team ideally to face upcoming challenges, foremost among them the AFC Champions League for elites and the Iraqi Stars League.
