Tottenham and Crystal Palace have entered into direct negotiations today regarding the transfer of English star Eberechi Eze, according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano confirmed that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and his counterpart at Crystal Palace, Steve Parish, held direct talks today in an attempt to bridge the gap and complete the deal as soon as possible.

According to the same source, Tottenham is ready to make a bid of £55 million as a fixed fee, along with an additional £5 million in incentives, in order to secure the player's services.

Eberechi Eze had informed the Crystal Palace management last week of his desire to move to Tottenham, marking a significant development in his career in the Premier League.

Other media reports have indicated that Crystal Palace will not part with Eze without finding a suitable replacement to fill his position after his departure.
