Al-Dar'iya Club, competing in the Saudi First Division League, is seeking to sign Portuguese midfielder Octavio from Al-Nassr during the current summer transfer window, following his exclusion from the plans of head coach Jorge Jesus for the new season.

Journalist Ali Al-Anzi, close to the Al-Nassr camp, confirmed that Al-Dar'iya has included Octavio among its contractual targets and that the player's surroundings do not oppose the move to the Al-Dar'iya team to strengthen its ranks.

Octavio was excluded from the Al-Nassr squad that participated in the preparatory camp in Europe in preparation for the 2025-26 season competitions, making his departure to another club a likely scenario during this summer.

The Portuguese player is under contract with Al-Nassr until June 2026, with a current market value estimated at 15 million euros according to Transfermarkt, reflecting his status as an influential player over the past years.

Since joining Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023, Octavio has played 84 matches across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 16 assists, making him one of the key midfield elements before his exclusion from the team's current plans.
