The Young Green Team Announces Final List for the 2025 World Cup

Coach Marcos Sawaers, the head coach of the Saudi U-20 national team, announced the final list for participation in the Youth World Cup 2025, set to take place in Chile, which includes 27 players.

The list includes: Hamad Youssef, Abdulrahman Al-Sanai, Mahmoud Al-Dawiya, Sultan Al-Essa, Nawaf Al-Shalhoub, Mohammed Barnawi, Saud Haroun, Saleh Barazi, Saud Al-Mashikhi, Abdullah Al-Jaafari, Turki Al-Muhani, Abdullah Al-Suhaili, Awad Aman, Bassam Hazzaz.

Along with: Iyad Moussa, Ziyad Al-Qadami, Saad Hamdi, Ali Al-Mahdi, Rafel Al-Qadami, Fahd Al-Sharaman, Abdulmalik Al-Harbi, Rami Al-Attar, Ammar Al-Habais, Hussein Al-Qurashi, Adnan Al-Shammari, Thamer Al-Dubibi, and Talal Naji.

The preparation program will begin with a gathering of players in Riyadh on August 15, followed by medical examinations the next day, before moving to Brazil on August 17 for the external phase of the camp, which includes a series of friendly matches.

The young green team will face Atletico Paranaense from Brazil on August 30, then the Chilean national team in Sao Paulo on September 8, followed by a friendly match against the Paraguay national team on September 14, and a second match against the Mexico national team on September 20, with the team departing for Chile on September 21.

Players Hamad Youssef, Mohammed Barnawi, Awad Aman, and Saad Hamdi will join the camp after completing their commitments with their clubs in the Saudi Super Cup, in preparation for the World Cup kick-off on September 27.
