Liverpool achieved a valuable and dramatic victory over their counterpart Bournemouth with a score of 4-2 in the match that took place this Friday evening at Anfield Stadium in the first round of the English Premier League.

Liverpool took the lead through Hugo Ekitike, who capitalized on a ball from Alistair, then received it back from a Bournemouth player, entered the penalty area, and shot a ground ball into the net in the 37th minute.

In the 49th minute, Cody Gakpo scored the second goal for Liverpool after receiving a pass from Ekitike, then maneuvered past Bournemouth's defense and shot a ground ball that found the guests' net.

Bournemouth managed to score a goal to reduce the deficit through Antoine Semenyo in the 64th minute, and then the same player scored the third goal with an individual effort in the 77th minute.

In the 89th minute, Liverpool scored the winning goal through Federico Chiesa, after a cross that was cleared by the goalkeeper and then the Bournemouth defense, reaching Chiesa who shot it directly into the net. Mohamed Salah then scored the fourth goal in the 90+5 minute with a shot from inside the penalty area.
