Officially: Milan Announces Signing of Zachari Athikami
The Italian club AC Milan announced on its official website the signing of Swiss defender Zachari Athikami from Young Boys, with a contract that extends until June 30, 2030.
Athikami was born in Denmark on December 13, 2004, and progressed through Swiss football academies including Servette and Neuchâtel Xamax, before moving to Neuchâtel Xamax in 2022, where he played his first professional matches, participating in 51 games and scoring two goals.
He then transferred to Young Boys, where he continued his development, playing 47 matches and scoring one goal.
The international defender for the Swiss U21 national team will wear the number 24 jersey with the Rossoneri in the new season.
