Tottenham Clings to Signing Eberechi Eze
Tottenham Hotspur is still determined to sign Eberechi Eze, the Crystal Palace winger, during the ongoing summer transfer window, according to the British newspaper 'Daily Mail'.
Despite Spurs' interest in signing Brazilian Savinho, the English club has not backed down from its efforts to acquire Eze, who is considered one of the standout stars of Crystal Palace in recent times.
The newspaper clarified that Tottenham's management is considering activating the release clause in Eze's contract, which amounts to 68 million euros and remains valid until the end of this month.
It is worth mentioning that Eze was one of the contributors to Crystal Palace's recent Charity Shield victory after winning against Liverpool on penalties.
Tottenham is preparing for a strong confrontation against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup next Wednesday evening at the Friuli Stadium in Udine, Italy.
