Al-Akhdoood Strengthens Attack by Signing Slovenian Striker Blaz Kramer

Al-Akhdoood club has reached an agreement with Turkish club Konyaspor to loan Slovenian striker Blaz Kramer until the end of the season, in a deal valued at $700,000 to be paid in two installments, to enhance the team's attacking power.

Kramer is 29 years old and started his career with Champion Celje in Slovenia, before moving to NK Aluminij, then to Wolfsburg 2 in Germany, and later to FC Zurich in Switzerland in 2019.

The Slovenian striker also played for Polish club Legia Warsaw before joining Konyaspor in September 2024 on a contract that extends until June 2027, where he played 29 matches in the Turkish league, scoring 9 goals and providing 3 assists.

Kramer has international experience with the Slovenian national team, having played in the under-19 and under-21 categories, and has appeared with the senior team since 2020 in 10 official matches.

On another note, Al-Akhdoood has completed its three-week training camp in Turkey, during which it played three friendly matches, drawing two against Qatari Al-Bidda and Saudi Al-Najma, and winning against Kuwaiti Al-Qadsia with a clean goal, in preparation for facing Al-Ittihad in the opening of the Saudi league.
