Crystal Palace has won the charity shield title after a victory in penalties against Liverpool, following a 2-2 draw in the match held this Sunday evening at Wembley Stadium.

Liverpool took the lead through Hugo Ekitike in the 4th minute, after receiving a ball and shooting it low from the edge of the penalty area into the net, while Crystal Palace equalized through Mateta from a penalty kick in the 17th minute.

In the 21st minute, Liverpool scored a second goal through Jeremy Frimpong after sending in a cross that deceived the goalkeeper, and in the 77th minute, Ismaila Sarr scored Crystal Palace's second goal after receiving a through ball and skillfully shooting it into the net.

The two teams went directly to penalties, which favored Crystal Palace with a score of 3-2.

This title marks Crystal Palace's first title in the English Community Shield competition.
