Bournemouth has reached an agreement with Lille to sign center-back Bafodé Diakité, according to journalist David Ornstein.
The deal is reported to be worth 35 million euros plus an additional 5 million euros in bonuses, and he will sign a 5-year contract.
Diakité, 24 years old, is a French player of Guinean descent, capable of playing in all defensive positions.
It is worth noting that the player grew up at Toulouse and joined Lille in 2022, where he excelled.
