Al-Khaleej Signs Al-Amri to Strengthen Attack for New Season
Al-Khaleej Club has completed the contract procedures with winger Saleh Al-Amri, coming from Al-Ittihad, aiming to strengthen the team's attack ahead of the 2025-2026 football season.
The Saudi newspaper 'Al-Riyadiyah' reported that the deal was made for one sporting season, after the Financial Sustainability Committee at the Ministry of Sports approved the player's transfer, with an official announcement expected soon.
The move to Al-Khaleej represents the eighth stop in Al-Amri's professional career, having played for Qadisiyah, Al-Ahli, Al-Ettifaq, Al-Wehda, Abha, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Raed, which he joined on loan last season.
Al-Amri joined Al-Ittihad two years ago from Abha on a contract that extends for three seasons, which was set to end in the summer of next year; however, his exclusion from the technical staff's plans made him available for transfer.
Al-Amri has played 42 matches with Al-Ittihad across various competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists, while he scored 8 goals and made 3 assists during 37 matches with Al-Raed last season.
