Qadisiyah Approaches to Snatch the Jewel of the Saudi League
The management of Qadisiyah has moved strongly towards signing Saad Al-Nasser, the left-back of Al-Taawoun, thus outpacing the clubs Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad in the race for the player's services.
The newspaper "Al-Yawm" reported that negotiations between Qadisiyah and Al-Taawoun have reached their final stages, amid the team's desire to strengthen its squad before the start of the new Roshan League season.
Several Saudi clubs, including Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad, have expressed interest in obtaining Saad Al-Nasser's signature, but Qadisiyah seems to be the closest to finalizing the deal in the coming hours.
Al-Taawoun is demanding an amount of 55 million riyals in exchange for releasing Al-Nasser, amid strong competition among the three clubs to secure his services in the summer transfer market.
This move comes as part of a series of strong signings made by Qadisiyah, which included the acquisitions of Musab Al-Juwair, Cristo Bah, Muhammad Al-Thani, and Matteo Retegui, in preparation for facing Al-Ahli in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong on August 20.
