Hamza Mathlouthi Returns to Sfaxien After Successful Stint with Zamalek
Hamza Mathlouthi, the Tunisian international right-back, is preparing to return to the ranks of the Sfaxien Sports Club, where he is expected to arrive in Tunisia on Saturday, August 9, 2025, to finalize the procedures for his official joining of the team.
Mathlouthi will join the team’s collective training starting Monday, August 11, 2025, after reaching the final stages of physical rehabilitation, following the injury he sustained last January, which kept him off the field for a long time.
This joining is considered a return for the Tunisian right-back to the club where he shone between August 2016 and October 2020, before embarking on a professional experience with Egyptian Zamalek that lasted five seasons, during which he achieved several prominent titles, the most notable of which are the Egyptian Premier League and the African Confederation Cup.
