Arsenal Intensifies Efforts to Sign Jakye
The English club Arsenal has intensified its efforts to sign French defender Jeremy Jakye from Stade Rennais, according to Football London.
Despite the signing of Spanish player Musquera, Arsenal still wants to add a new defender to the team, especially with the possibility of Polish player Jakub Kiwior leaving.
Jakye, who is 20 years old and plays for the French youth national team, has a contract with Rennes that extends until the summer of 2029.
The player, whose roots trace back to Guadeloupe, had a successful loan spell with Clermont.
